Florida Poised to Allow High School Athletes to Profit from NIL

As it currently stands, Florida is one of only 13 states that specifically prohibit high school athletes from profiting via their name, image and likeness.

The law proposed in Florida would allow high school athletes to monetize their brand, "under the proposal, student-athletes may not use their school’s name or uniform," according to an article from Fox News 13 Tampa.
